The good thing about sequels is that we know what NOT to expect. If the predecessor dint have it,the successor will not flaunt it.So that leaves us with no out of this world expectations from Transformers 3 as far as its storyline is concerned. But what we do expect and get in plenty is some mind-blowing special effects and action. So while the 3-d specs blissfully rest on your nose ,you are on the edge of your seat relishing huge robots dismantling themselves into almost everything.
Something of great interest to the human race and Hollywood in particular is our preoccupation with life forms outside of our planet irresistibly drawing up images of strange looking aliens, some our friends and others out there to get us.While a psychoanalyst might delve deeper and humour us with some Freudian connection about man's need to recreate forms with strength and power attributed to God's as a humble movie reviewer I'd just like to say that this movie takes this theme and lets it into a totally unreal frame. Its success lies in the fact that we totally buy the story.
So for the 157 min long movie we believe that we are sandwich between to warring group of aliens.-Autobots and Decepticons!!!Directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg it is a sequel to Transformers and Transformers:Revenge of the fallen.Shia Labeauf and Josh Duhamel do a commendable job but icing on the cake are the dismantling acts of the computer generated images of robots with commanding voices. Google Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley and you are informed that her claim to fame is replacing Megan Fox in Transformers 3 and that ,this Victoria's secrets model does with elan.
As someone in the possession of a weak heart and aversion to blood the fight sequence in this movie(which constitute a major part of this film) are a honeymoon delight. With clinking metal sounds, protruding wires every time one robot kicked the other you will thoroughly enjoy this action packed yet non-bloody flick.
Gripping, engaging and truly entertaining its a film you should not miss watching in 3 d.
As a parting note I'd just like to say cars are a man's best friend...go watch the film to understand well the gravity of this sentence.!!!
